Youth day is a day to show appreciation for the youth who stood in solidarity and marched the streets of Soweto in 1976. On this day we celebrate our youth and encourage them to continue to be brave, strong and fierce in this world.
For Youth day, the Creative Minds team went to Village Safe-haven Foster home to enjoy a day of painting. The children learnt to draw a lion which symbolizes strength, bravery and courage, all the traits we wish to see in our South African youth of today.
