Hey Creative Minds,

Thank you for visiting my page, I am Kirsty-Leigh, the founder and curator of Creative Minds Mixed Media art studio. I started this company in 2018. What was once a preschool arts & crafts company has now blossomed into an amazing mixed media art studio that has a head quarters in Sandton JHB and offers at home art services. Creative Minds is a small art studio that specializes in mixed media and acrylic. I am not a fine art studio, but rather a place to learn about different artistic techniques and explore all kinds of mediums such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, 3D canvas creations and more. My aim is to encourage out of the box thinking and artistic exploration.

What makes Creative Minds different?

When i first started Creative Minds it was for my preschool children we did a variety of messy arts and crafts, over the years Creative Minds has grown and developed and i have created my own art and drawing curriculum. This curriculum covers the appropriate skills that are developed through the exploration of art. There are short term goals for every lesson and there are long term goals every 6 months. Each of my art programs are broken up into age appropriate programs to ensure certain artistic techniques and knowledge are developed and obtained, all whilst having a bunch of fun painting and creating.
